Hello, my name is Bobbi OBrien
I am trying
to establish a
network of people interested
in Integral
Life Practice. The network
will be national and international. Sign Up
The purpose of the network is
to create a
sense of community, to
motivate each other, and to help
group members
persevere in their
psychological and spiritual practice.
It
will also link us together
and hopefully begin to create
an Integral
collective in the world.
Local individuals or groups can
establish
global interconnections
because of the internet. We can
all learn
what works from each other
worldwide. We can create a network
of kindred
spirits who are
improving themselves and improving
the world.
In Minneapolis, Minnesota, a
group of people
interested in Integral
Practice came together to participate
in
my Integral Practice
Experiment. We agreed on the
following practices
based on the book
Integral Life Practice by Ken
Wilber,Terry
Patten,Adam Leonard,and
Marco Morelli.
A) Do the 4 one minute modules
from the book
daily for 90 days.
1. 3 Body Workout and Integral
Dedication
pp. 145-149
2. States of Consciousness p.
104
3. 321 Shadow process p. 58
4. 3 Faces of Spirit p. 249
Each of us will customize any
additional
practices we do according to
individual needs and interests
using the
Integral Life Practice Matrix
on p. 20 of the book as reference
B) Keep a short daily record
of the practices
we do
C) Do a weekly meditation on
Sundays at 9:00
PM CST for 30 minutes
using the exercise Compassionate
Exchange
p. 252
D) Journal weekly about our practice
E) Meet monthly to discuss the
process, meditate
together, and support
each other in our practice
F) Complete the psychograph (using
the instructions
and graph provided
on http://bobbiobrien.blogspot.com/2008/09/waht-is-your-psychograph.html
- The Psychograph as a Tool for
Growth) and
reevaluate using the
psychograph in 90 days.
G) I have set up a forum on my
website http://Clearlightofthemind.com
using a password protected area
for privacy
so we can communicate with
each other via the internet.
I would like other groups or
individuals
interested in doing all or
part of the practice to join
us. The Integral
Practice Forum is set up
to allow worldwide communication
with people
actively doing the
practice. I would like each participant
to
do ABC as a minimum
practice.
The Integral Practice Forum is
free and by
special invitation. It
requires a password to insure
privacy. If
you are interested in
becoming part of the Integral
Practice Experiment
